Kyle Kuzma scored a team-high 24 points (on 9/17 shooting), grabbed four rebounds and dished out an assist in the Los Angeles Lakers’ 128-120 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday night at Moda Center. The Lakers improved to 25-7. After the game, LeBron James praised Kuzma’s efforts for helping the team snap a season-worse 4-game losing streak:

“Kuz is keeping up his streak of scoring the ball and the punch we’ve been wanting all year, obviously. He’s been trying to get back his groove. We want him to be that third scorer for us, someone that can consistently get the 18 to 20 points a night. But more importantly, you know it’s just the efficiency right now that I love. He’s just been very efficient mixing it up with his 3s, with his paint touches. You saw it tonight on the break, as well, just mixing it up,” James said, per Dave McMenamin of ESPN.
