At the launch party for NBA 2K20, the now-Los Angeles Lakers big man Anthony Davis talked on Lakers’ upcoming season and his teammate LeBron James:

On Lakers’ season: “I do see myself in the championship this year. It’s going to be a lot of work, a lot of ups and downs, a lot of bumps in the road, but I think if we stay together and have the right mindset, I think we’re able to do it.”

On LeBron James: “I think it’ll be great playing alongside LBJ. He’s a future HOF’er and he makes all his teammates better so I’m excited to share the floor with him soon.”

This past season, the 26-year-old averaged 25.9 points, 12.0 rebounds, 2.4 blocks and 3.9 assists per game, while shooting at 51.7 percent from the floor and 33.1 percent from three for the Pelicans.
