In an unexpected turn of events, Jerry Sloan have resigned from Utah Jazz, after spending twenty three successful seasons with the franchise.

Sloan, who had joined the club in 1988 – and signed a one year contract extension just three days ago – resigned after the team’s star Deron Williams accused him of the team’s poor performance and record recently.

The final straw of the fallout between Sloan and Williams was the unilateral decision of the player to call different plays for the team than the ones Sloan had just instructed the team to run during a time out.

In a press conference which ended just minutes ago, Utah Jazz administration announced the end of Sloan from the team while the coach himself, crying, confirmed it. Tyrone Corbin was named new head coach.
