According to SNY’s Ian Begley, the Brooklyn Nets are not the front runners to acquire forward Kevin Durant, who has opted out of his $31.5 million player option for next year, at the moment.
Durant suffered a torn Achilles during the NBA Finals and is expected to miss the entire upcoming season.
Last season, the 30-year-old averaged 26.0 points, 6.4 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game.
