Kristaps Porzingis headlines a solid Latvia roster that are considered a dark horse for Eurobasket that begins on Thursday.
There had been doubts about Porzingis inclusion due to a minor knee injury he sustained during a warm-up game against Lithuania. But he has been cleared to travel to Istanbul.
Ilya Gromov is the latest and final cut from the Latvian national team that marches to the EuroBasket with all stars on board.
Along with Porzingis, Davis Bertans, Dairis Bertans, Janis Strelnieks, Janis Timma and captain Janis Blums are all included in the final roster.
Latvia will face Great Britain, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Belgium in Group D of Eurobasket.
