DeAndre Jordan has agreed to return to the New Orleans Pelicans on a one-year veteran minimum contract that will be fully guaranteed.

The veteran center played a limited role last season, appearing in just 12 games for New Orleans after spending the previous three years with the Nuggets.

He is expected to provide frontcourt depth and veteran leadership for the Pelicans.

Jordan has played 18 seasons for 8 teams, including the Clippers and Nuggets. He has averaged 9.7 rebounds and 8.5 points in 1,123 regular-season games.

He was selected to play in 1 All-Star game, and has won 1 NBA championship.
