LeBron James posted 26 points, 11 assists, and eight rebounds as the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Golden State Warriors 119-103 at Chase Center on Thursday.

He shot 11-for-17 from the field and added three made three-pointers before briefly leaving after a hand contact play late in the third quarter.

Asked about the incident, LeBron downplayed concern and confirmed he expects to be available moving forward.

“Yeah. It’ll be fine. I mean, it’s not fine, but it will be. I’m good,” he said.

The moment came after a defensive sequence where he appeared to jam his hand on the backboard while contesting a shot.

LeBron also addressed the broader tone around the team following recent setbacks and roster disruption.

“We just had a sour taste in our mouth obviously for like the last week obviously with the news that we got with AR and Luka and then us dropping three in a row,” he said.

He added that the group’s focus has been on stabilization rather than external scenarios or standings pressure.

“So just mindset of just trying to figure out how we can be great as a team, how we can figure out how to play well on the road and try to get a win,” LeBron said.

On playoff positioning discussions, he emphasized a present-focused approach.

“We can’t think about the future like okay we’ve it’s just too hard to do that when you got to live in the moment as much as you can,” he said.

LeBron also reflected on the long-term unpredictability of his matchups, including the absence of another meeting with Stephen Curry this season.

“We actually talked about it a little bit. We both didn’t even realize it until I guess today,” he said.

He added context around injuries and availability. “Obviously I was hurt early on and then I think the last two games he didn’t play.”

LeBron highlighted the significance of those matchups when they occur.

“So we never know. We don’t know what the future holds and we don’t know when if we get the opportunity to play against each other or how many more times we get to play against each other,” he said.

He also briefly commented on footwear worn by Curry during the game.

“Of course. Of course. He got those from the vault for real,” LeBron said, referencing a past Nike era model.

Finally, LeBron acknowledged the emotional reality of adjusting to lineup changes and absences.

“Those guys mean too much to our ball club for us to just be like oh okay move on,” he said, referring to key teammates.

He added that professionalism requires adjustment, but continuity remains a challenge as the roster shifts late in the season.
