
The Toronto Raptors dethroned the East-leading Detroit Pistons 119-108 on Sunday night.
Brandon Ingram had a game-high 34 points, RJ Barrett added 27 and six boards, while Jakob Poeltl and Scottie Barnes each had a double-double.
Poetl finished with 21 points and a season-high 18 rebounds, while Barnes added 14 and 10 boards for the Raptors.
Toronto has won back-to-back games and holds on to the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference.
On the other hand, Cade Cunningham had 33 points and nine assists as the first-place Pistons had their three-game win streak ended.
Jalen Duren had a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds, while Tobias Harris scored 21 for Detroit.
The Pistons shot 64.9 percent in the first half but cooled off in the third quarter, hitting only 26.9 percent.
Ingram made a long three-pointer with 2:30 left in the third to give them a 12-point lead and capped a 9-2 run.
Meanwhile, the Raptors had one of their best defensive stops of the season as it overcame poor distance shooting.
