The Miami Heat travel to State Farm Arena on Friday, February 20, to face the Atlanta Hawks in a matchup with Eastern Conference play-in implications.
Miami enters at 29-27, eighth in the East, while Atlanta sits 10th at 26-30 and has dropped three straight games.
The Heat list several players on their injury report, though most rotation pieces are available. Tyler Herro is cleared to play despite a right costochondral rib injury. Norman Powell, who averages a team-high 23.0 points, is available despite low back tightness.
Andrew Wiggins (left toe inflammation), Pelle Larsson (finger), Kasparas Jakucionis (ankle), Keshad Johnson (calf), Dru Smith (ankle) and Simone Fontecchio (illness) are all available.
Terry Rozier is out and not with the team, while two-way players Vladislav Goldin and Jahmir Young are assigned to the G League.
Miami split its last two games, winning 123-111 at New Orleans on February 11 before falling 115-111 at home to Utah on February 9.
Atlanta’s injury report is shorter but includes a significant absence. Jonathan Kuminga is out with a left knee bone bruise. RayJ Dennis and Caleb Houstan are out on G League assignments.
The Hawks rely heavily on Jalen Johnson, who is averaging 23.3 points, 10.6 rebounds and 8.2 assists. Nickeil Alexander-Walker adds 20.1 points and shoots 37.3% from three, while Onyeka Okongwu contributes 16.2 points and 7.7 rebounds with 56.7% effective field goal shooting.
The season series is split. Miami won 126-111 in Atlanta on December 26, while the Hawks responded with a 127-115 victory in Miami on February 3.
