The Atlanta Hawks visit the Golden State Warriors on Sunday, January 11, at 8:30 PM ET at Chase Center. Atlanta enters the matchup with a 19-21 record after splitting its last two games, including a 110-87 win over Denver and a 100-118 loss to Toronto. Golden State holds a 21-18 record and comes off back-to-back wins against Sacramento and Milwaukee.
Atlanta faces multiple injury setbacks. N’Faly Dante (right knee, torn ACL) and Zaccharie Risacher (left knee inflammation) are ruled out. Kristaps Porzingis remains questionable with left Achilles tendinitis. RayJ Dennis, Nikola Djurisic, and Caleb Houstan are listed as doubtful, all on two-way or G League assignments.
Key contributors Jalen Johnson (24.6 points, 10.3 rebounds per game) and Onyeka Okongwu (16.2 points, 7.8 rebounds) are expected to start, but Porzingis’ availability could impact Atlanta’s frontcourt rotation.
Golden State will also be without key players. Seth Curry (left sciatic nerve irritation) and LJ Cryer (G League, two-way) are out. Malevy Leons, another two-way player, is inactive.
Stephen Curry leads the team at 28.7 points per game, with Jimmy Butler contributing 19.6 points and 5.5 rebounds. Draymond Green (8.7 points, 5.8 rebounds, 5.5 assists) remains a defensive anchor despite recent fatigue from the Warriors’ schedule.
