Milwaukee has decided to part ways with Mark Sears, waiving the guard after a brief stint on a two-way contract.

Sears originally signed with the Bucks in July and went on to make his NBA debut this season, appearing in seven games.

His role at the NBA level was limited, as he averaged 3.1 points in just under four minutes per outing during his first taste of league action.

Most of Sears’ playing time came in the G League with the Wisconsin Herd. There, the former Alabama standout was given a much larger role and showed more of his offensive skill set.

Across 12 appearances, including five starts, he averaged 16.2 points, 5.3 assists, and 2.4 rebounds while logging heavy minutes, often serving as a primary ball-handler.

Sears entered the professional ranks without being selected in the 2025 NBA Draft after his college career at Alabama.
