The Orlando Magic visit the Chicago Bulls on Friday, January 2, at United Center with tipoff set for 8:00 p.m. ET. Injuries could play a key role as both teams try to extend winning streaks heading into the new year.
Orlando enters 19-15 after a 112-110 win over Indiana and a 127-126 victory against Denver.
Franz Wagner (left high ankle sprain) and Moritz Wagner (left knee) are out, while Jonathan Isaac (left knee soreness) is questionable, leaving Orlando’s frontcourt rotation thin. Colin Castleton (G League two-way) is out, further limiting depth at center.
Chicago sits at 16-17 and has won back-to-back games, including a 134-118 victory over New Orleans. The Bulls are also navigating injuries, with Josh Giddey (left hamstring), Coby White (right calf), and Zach Collins (right first toe) all sidelined.
Emanuel Miller (right hamstring) and Lachlan Olbrich (left ankle) are questionable, while Noa Essengue (left shoulder) and Trentyn Flowers (right knee) are out.
