Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens edged Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul 81-77 on Tuesday night at Ulker Sports and Event Hall, sealing a hard-earned EuroLeague road win in a tense, physical contest. The result snapped Fenerbahce’s 12-game winning streak across all competitions.

Kendrick Nunn delivered the defining performance, guiding the Greens with control and shot-making at both ends. The reigning EuroLeague MVP finished with a game-high 25 points, including 15 in the first half and 10 in the fourth quarter.

Panathinaikos gained early momentum behind Nunn’s scoring burst, building a narrow halftime edge while weathering defensive pressure. His long-range shooting spaced the floor and prevented Fenerbahce from loading the paint.

Fenerbahce briefly seized control with an 11-0 run to open the third quarter, but the home surge proved temporary. Panathinaikos responded with defensive discipline, forcing turnovers and slowing the pace.

The closing minutes turned chaotic, as Fenerbahce trimmed the deficit to 76-75 with a 7-0 run. Nunn calmly answered at the line, sinking four consecutive free throws, while TJ Shorts added another to keep the visitors in front.

Cedi Osman contributed 11 points in the first half, while Juancho Hernangomez added nine points and five rebounds. Panathinaikos overcame inefficient shooting by forcing 22 turnovers and collecting 13 offensive rebounds.

Fenerbahce was led by Talen Horton-Tucker, who scored 22 points and repeatedly attacked the rim. His perimeter shooting struggles, including a 0-for-4 night from three-point range, limited the hosts late.

Panathinaikos improved to 10-6 in EuroLeague play, gaining ground in the upper half of the standings. Fenerbahce fell to 9-6, with road tests ahead looming large.

The Greens host Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv on Thursday, while Fenerbahce travels to Milan to face EA7 Emporio Armani the same night.
