Luka Doncic and fiancée Anamaria Goltes announced the birth of their second child, a daughter named Olivia, on Saturday morning via Instagram. The Slovenian superstar missed the Lakers’ last two games to be with his family.

Doncic’s first daughter, Gabriela, was born on December 1, 2023, and the couple got engaged in July 2023. Olivia’s arrival comes as Doncic leads the Los Angeles Lakers with averages of 35.3 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 8.9 assists per game through 16 appearances this season.

The Lakers went 1-1 in Doncic’s absence, defeating the Toronto Raptors 123-120 on Thursday before falling to the Boston Celtics 126-105 on Friday.

Los Angeles sits at 16-6, third in the Western Conference, and expects Doncic back for Sunday’s road matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Doncic’s presence has been critical to the Lakers’ high-powered offense, with teammates like Austin Reaves (29.3 PPG) and Deandre Ayton (15.4 PPG) providing support. His return is expected to stabilize the team’s rotations and enhance scoring efficiency.
