Following the Lakers-Mavericks game, Luka Doncic was asked by Mike Curtis of The Dallas Morning News to share his impressions of Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg.

In the video Curtis posted, the Slovenian star spoke positively about the 18-year-old’s early play and the expectations that come with being drafted first overall.

“I think he’s a good player,” Doncic said. “Obviously, there’s a lot of pressure that comes with (being) the first pick so he has a lot on his shoulders, but I think he will become a great player.”

Flagg turned in another impressive all-around performance despite the loss, finishing with 13 points, a career-high 11 assists, and seven rebounds.
