The Basketball Federation of Slovenia has extended its partnership with MatchWornShirt, this time including the men’s senior national team jerseys from EuroBasket 2025, worn and signed by all 12 players – Luka Doncic among them.
The auction began Monday and will run through Sunday, with Doncic’s jersey naturally drawing the most attention. His iconic #77 shirt, signed after the tournament, had already reached nearly €3,000 by Thursday.
The blue jerseys on offer were specifically prepared for Slovenia’s EuroBasket matchups against France (August 30), Iceland (September 2), Israel (September 4), Italy (September 7), and Germany (September 10).
While not used in official game play, some were worn during warmups. Following Slovenia’s elimination in the quarterfinals by eventual champion Germany, Doncic and his teammates signed them in the locker room.
Slovenia’s tournament run was marked by resilience. After opening with a 0–2 record in Katowice, they battled back to finish pool play 3–2, securing third place in Group B.
In Riga, they upset second-seeded Italy to reach the quarterfinals, but fell to Germany, ending their campaign.
Doncic shined individually, averaging an astounding 34.7 points, 8.6 rebounds, 7.1 assists, 2.7 steals, and 0.6 blocks per game across seven contests.
His performance earned him a spot on the All-Star Five of EuroBasket 2025, though Slovenia ultimately finished seventh overall.
