Scottie Pippen, one of the NBA’s all-time greats, recently received a firm request from Michael Saylor, executive chairman of Strategy, to stop discussing his private conversations with Bitcoin’s mysterious creator, Satoshi Nakamoto.

This isn’t an ordinary ask – it involves one of the biggest crypto mysteries. Pippen revealed in an interview, “Michael Saylor asked me not to speak on my conversations with Satoshi,” adding, “No more talk about Satoshi.”

The six-time NBA champion claims he’s been communicating with Satoshi in his dreams for years. His first encounter with this enigmatic figure was reportedly in 1993, before Bitcoin even existed.

Since then, the same person identifying as Satoshi has appeared in Pippen’s dreams, sharing Bitcoin price predictions that Pippen posts online.

At the Cantor Crypto Conference in November 2024, when Pippen mentioned these dreams, Saylor appeared amazed and said, “I envy Scottie.”

Later, Saylor described socializing with Pippen over dinner and yacht rides, defending Pippen’s claims while noting how protective Bitcoin enthusiasts are about Satoshi.

Pippen’s dream predictions have shown notable accuracy. For instance, he predicted Bitcoin reaching $84,650 around the US election in November 2024 – a price it hit two weeks late.

In December, he cryptically forecasted Bitcoin hitting $81,000 before climbing back to $100,000, referencing basketball legends Kobe Bryant (“Black Mamba”) and Wilt Chamberlain.

Though not perfect, Pippen’s forecasts have sparked interest. Recently, he asked followers whether Bitcoin could hit $233,000 in 2026, along with optimistic targets for Solana and XRP. He says his predictions come from intuition and a strong team behind him.

Beyond crypto, Pippen is a basketball legend with six NBA titles, seven All-Star appearances, and a Hall of Fame induction.

Now, he’s launching The Ball Foundation, a crypto project backed by the physical basketball he held when the Bulls won the 1991 championship.

The project’s token, BALL, is a real-world asset on the blockchain, aimed at preserving value for future generations.

Pippen sees himself as a bridge to crypto for newcomers, aiming to ease fears and provide genuine opportunities rather than flashy celebrity tokens. Looking ahead, he hopes to meet pro-crypto President Donald Trump during his remaining term.

In short, Scottie Pippen is merging his sports legacy with bold new ventures in crypto, all while maintaining a unique and mysterious connection to Bitcoin’s elusive creator.
