Reports connecting the Miami Heat to Kings forward DeMar DeRozan and Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga have circulated.

Still, neither player has emerged as a central figure in any active trade discussions as of Sunday afternoon, according to Barry Jackson and Anthony Chiang of The Miami Herald.

While DeRozan is widely believed to be available on the trade market, the Heat have not made him a priority target at this stage.

The veteran forward is set to earn $24.5 million for the 2025/26 season, with his contract including only a partial guarantee of $10 million on a $25.7 million salary for 2026/27 – a structure that could appeal to teams seeking financial flexibility in future years.

As for Kuminga, the Heat’s interest appears to be exploratory rather than aggressive.

Despite being viewed as a promising young talent, no formal negotiations involving the 22-year-old forward have gained traction thus far.
