The Oklahoma City Thunder faced narrow losses in the first two games of the series, falling by just two points in the opener and then losing in overtime during Game 3.

However, their performance in Game 4, where they secured a five-point victory, demonstrated their growth in handling tight playoff situations. The team’s ability to close out a close game marked a significant step forward in their postseason development.

“We’ve been through a lot of adversity,” head coach Mark Daigneault said, reflecting on the team’s resilience.

“Every time you take punches and you get back up, you get stronger. That’s what we’re preaching to our team. We lost a tough one the other night in overtime. We stood back up [Sunday].”

Daigneault’s words highlight the team’s mentality – despite the setbacks, they continue to rise and improve with each challenge they face.

The growth in their ability to perform under pressure is evident as they adapt and learn from every game, no matter the result.
