Trae Young delivered 36 points and 11 assists to lead the Atlanta Hawks past the Philadelphia 76ers, 124-110, on Friday night at Wells Fargo Center. With the victory, Atlanta improved to 39-42.

Young connected on six shots from beyond the arc, including two during a decisive 9-0 run in the fourth quarter that extended Atlanta’s lead to 120-102 and sealed the outcome.

Caris LeVert came off the bench to score 31 points on 12-of-15 shooting, giving the Hawks a major boost in scoring depth.

Mouhamed Gueye controlled the glass with 18 rebounds — a career high — to go along with 10 points in 33 minutes.

Dyson Daniels contributed eight points, 10 boards, and eight assists, while adding three steals and two blocks on the defensive end.

Georges Niang added 16 points off the bench, drilling four triples to help Atlanta shoot 38.1% from long range as a team.

The Hawks led by just nine with under six minutes left before putting the game away, outscoring Philadelphia 13-8 the rest of the way.

Jared Butler led the 76ers with 25 points and seven assists, but the loss dropped Philadelphia to 24-57 on the season.

Marcus Bagley posted career highs with 20 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists, making four threes in the second quarter alone.

Rookie big man Adem Bona added 18 points on 8-for-9 shooting, while Colin Castleton chipped in 16 off the bench.

Despite the strong offensive effort from several players, the 76ers were unable to keep pace after giving up 64 points in the second half.

Philadelphia’s defense struggled to contain Atlanta’s ball movement, allowing 28 team assists and 16 made threes.

The loss locked the Sixers into the fifth-best odds in the upcoming draft lottery, giving them a 10.5% chance at the No. 1 overall pick.

For Atlanta, the win kept them one game ahead of Chicago and two ahead of Miami for the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference.
