Los Angeles Clippers veteran guard James Harden sustained a foot injury during the third quarter of Sunday’s loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Although he was able to finish the game, the injury appeared to impact him as the game progressed and was still affecting him in the locker room afterward, according to Law Murray of The Athletic.

Before the injury, Harden had been playing some of his best basketball of the season, averaging 29.2 points per game with a .396 three-point percentage over the Clippers’ previous nine games, eight of which were victories.

As a result, the team is anxiously awaiting updates as they assess the extent of his foot injury, with hopes that it won’t disrupt his recent strong performances, Murray adds.
