The Chicago Bulls overcame a 17-point deficit to defeat the Miami Heat 114-109 on Saturday night, with Josh Giddey leading the charge.
Giddey recorded 26 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 assists, securing a triple-double to help Chicago (26-38) secure its second straight win in Florida. Coby White contributed 21 points, while Zach Collins added 18 points and 15 rebounds.
The Heat (29-34) built a 51-35 lead in the second quarter but failed to maintain control. Bam Adebayo and Andrew Wiggins each scored 22 points for Miami, while Tyler Herro finished with 21.
Chicago took its first lead since the opening quarter with 5:52 remaining, fueled by an 11-0 run capped by a Jalen Smith layup. White then put the Bulls ahead for good with a three-point play at the 1:25 mark, and Giddey’s three-pointer with 17 seconds left sealed the win.
Despite White missing all eight of his three-point attempts, he remained effective by hitting all nine of his free throws. The Bulls shot 88.5% from the line, making 23 of 26 attempts.
Miami struggled in back-to-back games, losing both legs after falling to the Timberwolves on Friday. The Heat have now been swept in six of their 13 back-to-back sets this season.
Chicago’s bench provided key contributions, with Kevin Huerter scoring 11 points and Smith adding seven. Miami’s Terry Rozier led the Heat reserves with 15 points, hitting five three-pointers.
