The New York Knicks are reportedly eyeing Moses Brown for their 15th roster spot, according to SNY’s Ian Begley. Brown, currently on a 10-day contract with the Dallas Mavericks, has caught the attention of the Knicks’ front office as they look to bolster their frontcourt depth.

Due to financial restrictions, the Mavericks cannot sign Brown to a second 10-day deal, making him available for other teams. The 25-year-old center, who played high school basketball at Archbishop Molloy in New York, has ties to the area and spent time with the Westchester Knicks earlier this season.

Brown has made the most of his opportunity in Dallas, averaging 9.7 points and 7.3 rebounds in 17 minutes per game over three appearances. His standout performance came against the Charlotte Hornets, where he posted 21 points, 11 rebounds, three steals, and two blocks in 31 minutes.

The Knicks, sitting third in the Eastern Conference with a 39-20 record, are exploring ways to strengthen their roster for a deep playoff run. Brown’s size, rebounding, and defensive presence could provide valuable depth behind Mitchell Robinson and Isaiah Hartenstein.

Other players on the Knicks’ radar include Westchester Knicks’ TJ Warren and Chuma Okeke. However, Brown’s recent performances and local ties make him a compelling option for the team’s final roster spot.
