Anfernee Simons delivered 28 points and six assists to propel the Portland Trail Blazers to a 114-112 win over the Utah Jazz on Monday night.

Jerami Grant added 20 points, while Deni Avdija contributed 18 points and 14 rebounds as Portland (25-33) snapped a three-game road losing streak.

Scoot Henderson finished with 17 points and six assists, playing a key role in the Blazers’ late-game push.

Brice Sensabaugh led the Jazz (14-43) with 23 points, while Keyonte George had 21 points and Kyle Filipowski tallied 20 points and 11 rebounds.

George drilled two three-pointers in the final seconds to pull Utah within one, but Grant made a free throw to extend the lead to 114-112.

George had a chance to win the game at the buzzer but missed a contested three-pointer, sealing Utah’s sixth loss in eight games.

Portland took control late in the first half with an 18-3 run, turning a five-point deficit into a 61-51 lead at the break.

Simons sparked the surge with five baskets and an assist as the Blazers capitalized on Utah’s scoring drought.

Isaiah Collier momentarily lifted the Jazz with a half-court buzzer-beater before halftime, but Portland maintained its momentum.

Despite Utah hitting 18 three-pointers at a 41% clip, the Jazz struggled inside, allowing the Blazers to exploit their defense.

Portland scored 23 points off 15 Utah turnovers, punishing the Jazz for their mistakes.

Avdija and Donovan Clingan combined for 26 rebounds, helping the Blazers control the glass.

Henderson, who had a game-high six turnovers, made up for it with key plays in the fourth quarter.

Shaedon Sharpe contributed 12 points off the bench, while Clingan finished with seven points and 13 rebounds.
