The Atlanta Hawks announced on Tuesday that Larry Nance Jr. will be re-evaluated in six weeks after suffering a nondisplaced fracture in his right medial femoral condyle. The injury occurred during Monday’s game against the Magic.

In addition, the Hawks revealed that Vit Krejci has also been diagnosed with a nondisplaced lumbar fracture and will be re-evaluated in 3-4 weeks. Like Nance, Krejci’s injury occurred on back-to-back possessions during the same game.

So far this season, Nance has been contributing an average of 8.5 points and 4.3 rebounds per game, while Krejci is averaging 6.9 points and 2.7 rebounds. Both players’ injuries are significant blows to the team’s depth, as they will be sidelined for the foreseeable future.
