The Los Angeles Lakers are gearing up to face the Indiana Pacers tonight with a significant injury list that includes key players like LeBron James and newly acquired Luka Doncic.

The Lakers (30-19) are currently in fifth place in the Western Conference, having won nine of their last 11 games. Despite their recent success, the team’s depth will be tested with a long list of injuries heading into tonight’s game.

James, who dropped 42 points in the Lakers’ last win over the Golden State Warriors, is listed as doubtful due to left ankle soreness. The superstar forward has been instrumental in the Lakers’ strong play, but his availability tonight remains uncertain.

Also notable is the absence of Luka Doncic, who is expected to make his Lakers debut on Monday against the Utah Jazz. Doncic is sidelined with a left calf strain, but his return is eagerly anticipated.

Other notable players on the injury list include Austin Reaves, who is questionable with a left elbow contusion, and Christian Wood, who remains out due to left knee surgery recovery. Maxi Kleber, dealing with a right foot fracture, is also sidelined.

In addition to these concerns, Mark Williams is listed as questionable due to a pending trade, which adds another layer of uncertainty for Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, the Pacers (29-21) sit in fourth place in the West and come into tonight’s game with strong momentum. They are 7-3 in their last 10 games, including a recent victory over the Clippers.

Indiana will also be missing key players, with Myles Turner (cervical strain) and Isaiah Jackson (right Achilles tendon tear) both ruled out. RayJ Dennis and Quenton Jackson are listed as questionable.
