The Toronto Raptors pulled off an upset Sunday night, defeating the Los Angeles Clippers 115-108 at home. RJ Barrett led the way with 20 points, helping Toronto secure its eighth win in the past 10 games.

Gradey Dick added 18 points, while Scottie Barnes contributed 15 as the Raptors ended a five-game losing streak against the Clippers. Jakob Poeltl recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Toronto’s bench made a difference, with Ochai Agbaji scoring 12, Immanuel Quickley adding 11, and Ja’Kobe Walter finishing with 10. Seven Raptors reached double figures as they executed a balanced offensive attack.

James Harden led Los Angeles with 25 points but struggled with efficiency, shooting 7-for-20 from the field and 2-for-9 from beyond the arc. Ivica Zubac finished with 18 points, while Kevin Porter Jr. chipped in 17.

Kawhi Leonard had 14 points in 27 minutes as the Clippers fell short after winning their previous two games. Los Angeles struggled in the third quarter, scoring just 16 points and making 7 of 25 shots.

Harden had a particularly rough stretch in the third, shooting 1-for-7 and missing all four of his three-point attempts. The Clippers were outscored 17-2 on fast breaks in the period as Toronto took control.

The Raptors took advantage of Quickley’s return after missing eight games with a hip injury, winning just their second game in 11 contests with him in the lineup. His presence helped steady the offense as he dished out six assists.

Toronto led 61-58 at halftime before breaking the game open with a dominant third quarter. The Raptors shot 8-for-9 on fast-break opportunities, using their speed to put the Clippers on their heels.

Los Angeles attempted to rally in the fourth, cutting the deficit to single digits, but Toronto maintained its composure. The Raptors’ depth and defensive effort proved to be the difference down the stretch.

Barnes continued to showcase his all-around game, adding seven rebounds and five assists. Barrett also contributed six rebounds and seven assists while playing a team-high 33 minutes.

The Clippers got a strong performance from Nicolas Batum, who had 11 points off the bench while shooting 4-for-5 from the field. Terance Mann and Amir Coffey combined for 15 points but couldn’t provide enough support.

Despite the loss, Zubac dominated inside with eight rebounds and efficient shooting. Porter Jr. provided a spark, making 8 of 13 shots, but the Clippers’ struggles from deep—hitting just 32.1% of their three-point attempts—proved costly.

Toronto finished the game shooting 51.8% from the field and 52% from beyond the arc. The Raptors’ ability to spread the floor and capitalize on transition opportunities kept Los Angeles on its heels.

The victory moves Toronto to 16-33 on the season, continuing an impressive stretch after a slow start. The Clippers, now 28-21, will look to bounce back in their next outing as they remain in the thick of the Western Conference race.
