Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Kenny Atkinson recently raved about Ty Jerome’s 2024-25 bench production (averaging 10.9 PPG/2.3 RPG/3.3 APG/1.2 SPG/1.2 TOV/51.1% FG/43.8% 3-PT/88.3% FT).

“I think it’s real. Because you wonder, ‘Can he sustain? Can he keep doing it this long?’ We’re almost at the All-Star break, and quite honestly, it’s hard to keep him on the bench. We’ve talked about, ‘Man, we’ve gotta get Ty in. Get Darius [Garland].’ He’s in the conversation as your major rotation piece. One of the things we had an issue with him in Golden State was not trusting his three, and I feel like now he’s pulling from everywhere. I give us credit because we’ve empowered him to do that, and that was my corporate knowledge of being with him because I think he’s a hell of a shooter. So, he’s gotta keep letting it fly like he is.”
