The Cavaliers continued their dominant run with a commanding 122-110 victory over the Lakers on Tuesday, marking their eighth consecutive win, as noted by Chris Fedor in Cleveland.com report.

Impressively, each of these wins has been secured by a double-digit margin, showcasing Cleveland’s consistent dominance on the court. The team now boasts an outstanding 29-4 record, putting them on track for a remarkable 72-win season.

Despite their success, Cavaliers head coach Kenny Atkinson emphasized the importance of maintaining focus beyond regular-season accomplishments.

“We know it’s about playoff performance,” Atkinson stated. “That’s what it comes down to. You don’t want to be that team that everyone says, ‘Oh, they’re a good regular-season team.’”

The Lakers, now 18-14 after the loss, had their challenges against Cleveland’s formidable play. Lakers head coach JJ Redick offered glowing praise for the Cavaliers, underscoring the difficulty of overcoming such a well-rounded squad.

According to Dave McMenamin of ESPN, Redick observed that teams must play “close to perfect basketball” to have a chance at defeating Cleveland.
