Devin Booker and Kevin Durant powered the Phoenix Suns to a 134-126 win over the Utah Jazz on Friday night, snapping the Suns’ three-game losing streak. Booker tallied 34 points, while Durant, making his return after a three-game absence, contributed 30 points and eight assists.

Phoenix improved to 13-11, leaning on its dynamic duo to outlast the Jazz, who dropped to 5-19 this season. Durant also added eight assists, matching Booker, and played a key role in steadying the Suns’ offense after a rocky start.

Jusuf Nurkic returned to action for Phoenix after missing five games, contributing 12 points on 6-of-7 shooting. Tyus Jones delivered an impressive double-double with 19 points and 11 assists, helping the Suns build and maintain their lead.

The Jazz welcomed back Jordan Clarkson, who missed seven games due to plantar fasciitis. Clarkson led Utah with 23 points, supported by John Collins with 22 and Lauri Markkanen with 19. Despite their efforts, Utah fell short after a strong first-half showing.

Utah’s outside shooting kept the game close, as the team hit 22 three-pointers and shot 56% from beyond the arc. However, Phoenix’s efficiency from the field, shooting 52.8%, and dominance in key moments proved decisive.

Durant and Booker combined for 21 field goals and 16 assists, showcasing their ability to share playmaking duties while leading the scoring charge. Their chemistry was critical in closing out the game, as Utah never got closer than four points in the final quarter.

Clarkson’s second-quarter scoring burst, which included three straight baskets, temporarily gave Utah a 53-44 lead. However, Phoenix’s quick response ensured the Jazz couldn’t capitalize on their momentum.

The Suns and Jazz combined for 44 three-pointers in a high-scoring affair that showcased the offensive firepower of both teams. Phoenix, however, displayed better execution in clutch situations, pulling away late to secure the victory.
