In an electrifying game on Sunday night, the Golden State Warriors defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 114-106, powered by stellar performances from Stephen Curry, Buddy Hield, and Jonathan Kuminga.

The Warriors improved to 14-9, while Minnesota fell to 12-11, ending their four-game win streak.

Curry, the standout for Golden State, dropped 30 points and dished out 8 assists. His highlight of the night came at the end of the third quarter when he sank a 39-foot jumper, just before the buzzer. The shot helped the Warriors maintain control, and Curry later played a key role in the closing moments of the game, setting up Kuminga for a go-ahead dunk with 2:55 remaining.

Hield, who has been in a shooting groove lately, contributed 27 points. He drained seven 3-pointers, including a pair that ignited a comeback midway through the third quarter, helping the Warriors rally from a deficit. Hield is now just one 3-pointer away from becoming the 17th player in NBA history to reach 2,000 career triples.

Kuminga added 20 points and 7 rebounds, providing crucial support down the stretch. Golden State’s dynamic trio combined for 77 points, ensuring a victory in the second game between the two teams in three days.

For the Timberwolves, Anthony Edwards led the charge with 27 points, but it wasn’t enough to extend their win streak. Minnesota struggled to contain the Warriors’ offense in the final minutes.

Rudy Gobert and Jaden McDaniels both contributed defensively, but Minnesota’s shooting struggles and lack of scoring support from other players hurt their chances.

The game featured several injuries for both teams. Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins missed the game due to an ankle issue. Meanwhile, the Timberwolves were without guard Rob Dillingham, who is recovering from a sprained right ankle.

The Timberwolves had opportunities, especially with their impressive shooting from beyond the arc, but couldn’t capitalize on a late 13-0 run in the second half that briefly gave them a lead. Ultimately, it was Curry’s clutch play and the timely contributions from Hield and Kuminga that sealed the game for Golden State.
