The Los Angeles Clippers were reportedly open to trading Paul George, with a potential deal involving Andrew Wiggins, either Jonathan Kuminga or Brandin Podziemski, and one or two draft picks.

Sources indicate that the Clippers were willing to engage with their division rival, the Golden State Warriors, but they wanted a return package that could help replenish their assets, especially if they were to take on a less desirable contract and move into the second apron of the salary cap.

The proposed deal would have involved swapping George for Wiggins, who still has three years and $85 million left on a four-year, $109 million contract.

However, the Clippers would only have considered this trade if they also received a young, promising player like Kuminga or Podziemski, along with one or more future draft picks, to ensure they got significant value in return.
