Memphis Grizzlies’ Jaren Jackson Jr. has expressed his dissatisfaction with Nikola Jokic’s NBA 2K25 rating during a recent discussion on The Old Man and The Three podcast.

Jackson Jr. noted his frustration by stating (h/t Essentially Sports), “Joker got three MVPs and he get a 97? I wish I had three MVPs and they give me a 97, I low-key be mad.”

The NBA 2K25 ratings have unveiled Jokic, Doncic, and Antetokounmpo as the top three players, each rated at 97 overall.

Jokic, who recently won his third MVP award, is recognized as the game’s highest-rated player, reflecting his on-court dominance.

Doncic and Antetokounmpo, both regular MVP contenders, join Jokic in sharing the top rating for this year’s edition.

Joel Embiid and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander follow with a 96 rating, while LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Jayson Tatum are rated at 95.

Kevin Durant and Anthony Davis round out the top ten with a 94 rating, and Anthony Edwards also makes the list with a 93 rating.

Rookie of the Year Victor Wembanyama is rated at 91, with Kyrie Irving, Kawhi Leonard, and Donovan Mitchell holding strong positions in the low 90s.

Jackson’s reaction highlights ongoing debates about player ratings and their reflections of real-life performance.
