In a beautiful game with a thriller finale Marousi beat Aris in Thessaloniki and captures the 3rd greek Euroleague spot. Aris, who had the homecourt advantage, didn't manage to beat Marousi in the 5th final for 3rd place of the greek league, missing Euroleague participation for the 2nd consecutive year. The yellows of Thessaloniki had great periods throughout the second have gaining 7 and 9-point leads numerous times. yet Marousi came back everytime to achieve a 14-1 run in the final minutes before the game went to the freethrow roulette with a 2-point lead for the guests.
