The San Antonio Spurs have signed former Los Angeles Clippers guard Brandon Boston Jr., according to NBA insider Michael Scotto.
Boston, 22, will join the Spurs as he competes for a spot on their roster. Over the past three seasons, he has played for the Clippers, where he averaged 6.2 points per game in 12.9 minutes of play.
During the 2023-24 NBA season, Boston averaged 5.2 points and 1.6 assists in 10.8 minutes per game. His role with the Clippers saw him contribute off the bench in a reserve capacity.
Boston’s move to the Spurs signals a new opportunity for him to prove his value and secure a more prominent role.
The 22-year-old shooting guard’s performance in the upcoming season will be closely watched as he aims to establish himself with San Antonio.
