Minnesota Timberwolves coach Chris Finch has secured his future with the team by agreeing to a four-year contract extension through the 2027-28 season, NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski reported.

Under Finch’s leadership, the Timberwolves achieved notable success, including reaching the Western Conference Finals last season — their third consecutive postseason appearance.

Having coached the Wolves for four seasons, Finch has compiled a commendable record of 160 wins against 127 losses.

In the recently concluded season, Minnesota finished third in the competitive Western Conference, tying with the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder and Denver Nuggets.

The Timberwolves’ journey in the playoffs saw them advancing to the Conference Finals, where they faced a tough challenge against the Dallas Mavericks.

This extension signifies the Timberwolves’ confidence in Finch’s ability to lead the team and build on their recent achievements.
