Draymond Green expressed concerns about Anthony Edwards, stating, “He’s hit the wall,” after another subpar performance by the Timberwolves star in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals. The Timberwolves lost 109-108 to the Mavericks, giving Dallas a 2-0 series lead.

Edwards managed 21 points, but Green noted that he appeared fatigued on the court. “He’s got to play better and right now I just think he’s hit the wall,” Green said on Inside the NBA on TNT. “He’s walking up and down the court on both sides of the floor.

“And if he just stands up top while someone else trying to make a play, they’re going to help in because you’re not overly worried about him spot shooting.”

Edwards, alongside Karl-Anthony Towns (15 points, 7 rebounds), had another off night for Minnesota.

The series now shifts to Dallas, where the Timberwolves face a daunting task in Game 3. Minnesota must find a way to contain Doncic and Irving to avoid falling further behind in the series.
