Michael Malone expressed frustration with postgame questions following the Denver Nuggets’ Game 7 loss. The Nuggets were eliminated from the playoffs by the Minnesota Timberwolves, ending their title defense.

During the press conference, Malone responded tersely to inquiries about defensive changes and offensive strategies during the game. Malone’s irritation was evident as he dismissed what he deemed as “stupid a** questions.”

Journalist: “What changed defensively for you guys after you went up 20 in the second half?”

Malone: “Our offense.”

Journalist: “Did you feel like there was anything that you guys got away from offensively in that stretch after you reached that point?”

Malone: “I’ll have to go back and watch the film.”

Journalist: “How hard is it just to absorb a loss like this after going ahead by 20?”

Malone: “Next question. Man the season’s over. You don’t understand that the season’s over. It’s hard. Stupid a** questions.”

The imberwolves completed a historic comeback from a 20-point second-half deficit to defeat the Nuggets 98-90. Anthony Edwards led the charge, overcoming a slow start to propel the Timberwolves to victory.

The Nuggets, led by Nikola Jokic’s 34 points and 19 rebounds, couldn’t muster enough support for a victory. However, the lack of scoring depth beyond Jokic and Jamal Murray, who scored 35 points, was evident.

The defeat marks the end of the Nuggets’ title defense, with Malone visibly frustrated by the outcome. As the Timberwolves celebrate their historic victory, the Nuggets face a disappointing end to their season.
