At the end of the season Tom Thibodeau will discuss extending his contract with the New York Knicks. Thibodeau is in his fourth season as head coach of the Knicks and, after beating the Brooklyn Nets 105-93, they find themselves in fourth place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 42-28. Thibodeau’s current contract with the Knicks runs until the end of next season.

According to some sources, however, this summer Thibodeau and the Knicks will plan the future to move forward together again. For the second consecutive year, the Knicks will finish in the top five for the second consecutive year in the playoffs. An incredible result if you consider the more than negative performance of the Knicks in previous seasons.

The agreement appears to be a formality, while the duration of the contract is different. Any doubts will be resolved in the summer.
