Bennedict Mathurin’s 25-point effort propelled the short-handed Indiana Pacers (24-17) to a hard-fought 126-121 victory against the Sacramento Kings (23-18) on Thursday night.

Facing the absence of key players, including newly acquired forward Pascal Siakam and the sidelined Tyrese Haliburton, the Pacers showcased their depth and determination.

Despite missing several players, the Pacers found contributions from T.J. McConnell, who scored 20 points and dished out 10 assists, and Myles Turner, who contributed 18 points.

Jalen Smith played a crucial role with 17 points and 13 rebounds, highlighting the collective effort.

Kevin Huerter led the Kings with a career-high 31 points, showcasing his shooting prowess with 7 of 12 from beyond the arc. Keegan Murray added 27 points and nine rebounds, but the Kings couldn’t overcome the Pacers’ resilience.

Domontas Sabonis recorded his third straight triple-double, amassing 21 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists. De’Aaron Fox contributed 24 points in the Kings’ effort.
