Mark Cuban informed the Dallas Mavericks team members through an email that he, along with the new ownership team, plans to distribute approximately $35 million in bonuses.

The bonuses serve as a token of appreciation for the employees’ hard work in contributing to the Mavericks’ success. The distribution of bonuses, calculated based on employees’ tenure with the organization, is a collective effort between Cuban and the Adelson and Dumont families.

Despite selling the majority of his stake in the Mavericks for around $3.5 billion to a group led by Dr. Miriam Adelson, Cuban still maintains a 27 percent ownership and will continue to oversee basketball operations.

However, uncertainties remain about the duration of his role, as Patrick Dumont, part of Adelson’s ownership group, is reported to have the final decision on this matter.
