Golden State Warriors’ forward Draymond Green has been given an indefinite suspension after a flagrant foul on Jusuf Nurkic during a game against the Phoenix Suns.

Despite claiming innocence and expressing his lack of intent to hit Nurkic, Green’s actions have sparked a series of inquiries into his behavior.

Nurkic himself voiced concern, stating, “What’s going on with him? I don’t know. Personally, I feel like that brother needs help.”

The NBA took decisive action, announcing an indefinite suspension, citing the severity of Green’s unsportsmanlike acts and his recurring history.

Executive Vice President and Head of Basketball Operations, Joe Dumars, addressed the situation in a postgame statement, indicating that Green must fulfill specific league and team conditions before being reinstated to play.

The suspension casts a significant shadow on the Warriors’ season, intensifying the scrutiny of Green’s on-court conduct.

In a recent interview with Mike Vorkunov of The Athletic, Dumars shed light on Green’s response to the league’s decision, revealing a surprising level of receptivity.

“He’s been very receptive to this right here,” Dumars said. “He’s not pushed back on this. He has agreed this is what needs to happen. He hasn’t been defiant about this at all.”
