In a remarkable display of sharpshooting, Spencer Dinwiddie led the Brooklyn Nets (8-8) with 24 points as they clinched a 118-109 victory over the struggling Chicago Bulls (5-13) on Sunday night.

The Nets showcased their three-point prowess, making an NBA season-best 25 shots from beyond the arc.

Lonnie Walker IV and Royce O’Neale were instrumental, each contributing six 3-pointers, while Mikal Bridges added four to the record-breaking tally.

The Nets set a franchise record for any quarter with an astounding 11 3-pointers in the second, ultimately making 16 in the first half.

Although falling short of the franchise record of 27 and the NBA mark of 29, their 25 made threes underscored their proficiency from long range.

Brooklyn’s balanced scoring effort featured Walker and O’Neale with 20 points each, and Bridges contributing 15, leading the Nets to their second consecutive win following victory over the Miami Heat on Saturday night.

Trendon Watford added 11 points, and Cam Johnson contributed 10 for the winners.

Despite a strong start by the Bulls, who held a 36-19 advantage at the end of the first quarter with a 21-point lead, the Nets staged a remarkable turnaround in the second.

Outscoring the Bulls 44-19 in the quarter, the Nets entered halftime with a 63-55 lead. This 25-point positive differential marked a historic achievement for the Nets in the second quarter.

Chicago, now on a four-game losing streak, relied on DeMar Derozan’s 27 points, while Coby White, Zach LaVine, and Patrick Williams added 23, 20, and 20 points, respectively.

The Nets faced adversity with several key players unavailable, including Nic Claxton, Ben Simmons, Cal Thomas, and Dennis Smith Jr., yet demonstrated resilience in securing the victory over the struggling Bulls.
