Paolo Banchero also made significant contributions with 23 points and eight assists.

Despite a strong effort from Miles Bridges, who finished with 23 points and 10 rebounds, the Hornets faced challenges in the second half after losing LaMelo Ball to an ankle injury.

Terry Rozier, returning to action after a nine-game absence, provided a boost with 22 points and nine assists for Charlotte.

Wagner had a remarkable shooting performance, making his first nine shots, displaying a versatile array of layups, dunks, and finger rolls.
