Milwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard is excited to play in more crunch time scenarios with Khris Middleton.

(via Milwaukee Bucks):

Reporter: “How big of a difference does Khris make? I know we’ve seen a lot of him not being able to close games, but the last two games he’s been able to close for you guys.”

Lillard: “It’s huge. In this league, the more weapons you have out there in a game especially down the stretch, the better chance you’re going to have to win. Being able to play through him in live catch actions when he’s playing the pick & roll, Giannis is setting a screen, I’m on the weak side. A lot of times if they hug me, it’s more space for them to play. And if they don’t, I’m going to get an opportunity to get a clean look. In that action, there’s a lot of things that we can do out of it. But with him on the floor, he’s a guy that can make the play, make free throws, and make shots, especially down the stretch, he’s a big shot maker. So us having him on the floor makes us just that much more dynamic, especially on that end.”
