Dennis Schroder, despite having what he described as the worst game of his career, helped lead Germany to a thrilling victory over Latvia in the FIBA World Cup quarter-finals, with a final score of 81-79.
Now, Germany is set to face Team USA in the semi-finals, which also marks a reunion for Schroder with his former Lakers teammate, Austin Reaves.
The two players shared a special bond last season as Lakers teammates and even reached the Western Conference Finals together.
Speaking about the upcoming matchup, Schroder expressed his excitement, saying, “[Austin Reaves] is my guy, man. I ain’t got nothing but love for him. Last year was special, and I’m looking forward to it.”
