Lakers shooting guard Austin Reaves is gearing up for an even more dynamic role in the upcoming season. The 25-year-old player is using the offseason to enhance his skills with the Lakers’ strength and conditioning team, even during his time with Team USA.

Reaves is focusing on sharpening his ballhandling and playmaking abilities. “I want to get back to playing point guard a little more and what we did at the end of the year. I feel comfortable and like I’m able to do that,” he said, via Jovan Buha of The Athletic.

During the 2022-2023 season, Reaves averaged 13 points, 3 rebounds, and 3.4 assists in just under 29 minutes per game.
