Josh Richardson has officially returned to Miami

Miami Heat announced that they have signed shooting guard Josh Richardson.

Richardson, who the Heat initially drafted in the 2015 NBA Draft, split last season between the San Antonio Spurs and New Orleans Pelicans, appearing in 65 games (10 starts) averaging 10.1 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.06 steals, and 23.5 minutes while shooting 43.1 percent from the field, 36.5 percent from three-point range and 85.2 percent from the foul line.

He recorded five 20-point games, including a season-high 27 points on 8-of-13 from the field, 6-of-8 from three-point range, and a perfect 5-of-5 from the line at Indiana on October 21.

He shot at least 50 percent from three-point range 23 times and registered 17 multi-steal games, including a career-tying five takeaways at Oklahoma City on February 13. He dished out a career-high 10 assists at Minnesota while adding 11 points for the double-double on October 26.
