Miami Heat announced that they have signed center Thomas Bryant.

Bryant split last season between the Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets, appearing in 59 total games (26 starts) averaging 9.8 points and 5.7 rebounds in 18.3 minutes of action while shooting 62.3 percent from the field, a career-high 44.1 percent from three-point range and 73.8 percent from the foul line.

He scored in double-figures 25 times, recording five 20-point games. He grabbed double-figure rebounds 10 times while posting nine double-doubles, including a 31-point, 14-rebound effort at Portland on January 22.

The six-year veteran has appeared in 229 career games (134 starts) and averaged 10.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 19.7 minutes while shooting 59.8 percent from the field, 36.6 percent from three-point range and 75.7 percent from the foul line, spending time with the Lakers, Wizards, and Nuggets.
