Panathinaikos have secured the services of star guard Luca Vildoza, who has signed a three-year contract with the club. The 27-year-old Argentinian is coming off a season with Crvena Zvezda in EuroLeague, where he averaged 12.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game.

Vildoza began his professional career with Quilmes Mar del Plata in Argentina before moving to Baskonia in Spain, where he played from 2017 to 2021. He made his EuroLeague debut with Baskonia and played a vital role in their 2020 Spanish League championship win, earning the MVP of the finals. After a stint in the NBA with the Bucks, Vildoza returned to Europe with Crvena Zvezda last season.

His accomplishments include leading Crvena Zvezda to the Serbian League and Cup titles, reaching the ABA League finals, and earning medals with the Argentinian national team.
